Absolutely, you can request this free of charge.

Are disabled rooms available?
Yes, sure. All rooms for disabled people have a wide passage and an accessible bathroom.

Do you also have connecting rooms?
Yes, but before you make your reservation, you should check with the hotel whether those rooms are available.

Are the rooms cleaned daily?
Because of the corona measures, we try to limit contact as much as possible. The cleaning of the rooms can be requested by filling in a form.

Are there any rooms with a sea view?
Unfortunately, you cannot see the sea from here. However, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the port of Zeebrugge.

Are there smoking rooms?
All our rooms are non-smoking.

Sustainability

What initiatives are we taking to make our business more sustainable?

  • Back office: We are putting more effort into digitalisation, which means less paper consumption.
  • Gagdets: Our gadgets for goodie bags and welcome gifts are carefully chosen with consideration for the environment and sustainability. Examples are reusable drinking bottles, cotton bags, etc.
  • Hotel:
    • Plastic cups in the bathroom are replaced by glasses
    • The use of plastic is avoided in the breakfast buffet
    • Printouts are avoided to the maximum
    • A minimum of single-use packaging is used
    • Waste disposal on 4 levels (paper/cardboard, PMD, glass, residual waste)

There is no room service in our hotel.

What are the opening hours of the bar?
The bar is open 24/7.

What are the opening hours of the pool?
The swimming pool is open just after breakfast until 22:00. If you would like to swim earlier, you can always ask at the reception.

In what period is the outdoor pool open?
Of course, the opening of the outdoor pool depends on the weather. It is often most favourable from the Easter holidays to mid-October.

What wellness facilities do you have?
We have an indoor pool, hammam and sauna.

Is the wellness centre open all year round?
Yes, both the indoor pool, sauna and hammam are accessible in summer and winter. Reservations in advance are required.

Is the indoor pool heated?
Yes, the swimming pool has a pleasant temperature of 27 °C.

Are there changing and shower facilities in the wellness area?
Yes, the wellness area has 2 open showers and some changing rooms.

Is the wellness paying?
No, the wellness is free of charge for guests. Reservations in advance are required.

Is there a gym?
Yes our hotel has a brand new equipped gym.

Are there dressing rooms and showers in the gym area?
Yes, the gym area has 2 changing cubicles with shower and 1 cubicle for disabled persons with shower.

Is the gym paying?
No, the gym is free of charge for guests. Reservations in advance are required.

What are the opening hours for the wellness and gym?
The wellness is open from 10 am to 10 pm and the fitness is from 8:30 am to 10:30 pm.

Do you also provide packed lunches?
Absolutely. For €15 per person you can take a packed lunch with you. It contains sandwiches, a yoghurt, some drinks and a dessert.

Does the hotel have a restaurant?
The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but you can order some snacks from our bar.

Breakfast

Can I order breakfast via room service?
No, but you can hand in a form at the reception the day before to order a breakfast box. You can pick up your box the next morning at the bar.

What time can I come for breakfast?
During the week you can have breakfast from 6:30 to 10:30. At the weekend until 11:00.

How much does breakfast cost?
Our hotel guests and people who are not staying at the hotel can have breakfast for €18 per person. Children up to the age of 10 pay €9.00 and small children up to the age of 3 eat breakfast for free.

What does breakfast consist of?
Our breakfast consists of an assortment of different types of breads and (sweet) rolls. A selection of cheeses, dairy products and cold cuts. Different types of yoghurt, fruit salad, fruits, as well as fruit juices. Muesli bars, cornflakes and granola. Muffins, cheesecake or other desserts. The hot buffet offers boiled and scrambled eggs, white beans in tomato sauce or mushrooms, bacon or breakfast sausages. Finally, our coffee machine offers a wide selection of hot drinks.

Can you also get a grab-and-go breakfast?
You can also order a breakfast box from us. You have to fill in a form the day before to specify what it should contain. The box can be collected the next morning at the bar.

Where is the hotel located?
The address of the hotel is Kustlaan 99, Zeebrugge. This puts the hotel between the beach and the marina of Zeebrugge. It is also the ideal base to visit neighbouring cities such as Knokke, Blankenberge or Bruges.

Are there places to eat nearby?
There are a lot of restaurants in Zeebrugge. Ranging from fish restaurants and chip shops to tapas bars and fine dining. Be sure to ask the reception desk for a map showing all of them.

What is the nearest ATM?
There are two ATMs nearby (Fortis & KBC) at about ±150m from the hotel.

Is the hotel easily accessible?
The hotel is easily accessible by both car and public transport. The hotel is close to two tram stops: Zeebrugge Kerk and Zeebrugge Vaart. Zeebrugge rail station is at about 600m (Zeebrugge Dorp). During holidays and weekends the train stops at Zeebrugge breach (1.9 km from the hotel). The Kustlaan is easily accessible by car via the N31 (Bruges).

  • At 450 metres from the hotel is Seafront, the fascinating theme park about the sea and shipping, fish and fishing.
  • Our hotel is situated one and a half kilometres from the beach of Zeebrugge. Especially in summer, numerous activities are organised here.
  • Sea Life is located 4 kilometres from the hotel. This aquatic zoo gives you a special insight into the amazing marine life of our oceans.
  • Our hotel is located about 20 kilometres from the historic centre of Bruges.

Absolutely. The hotel has an outdoor car park and an underground car park.

What is the price of parking at the hotel?
Prices vary between €2 and €24. Depending on how long you use our car park.

The car park cannot be reserved.

Payment

From what age do children have to pay?
Children up to the age of 16 can stay in the room free of charge. Provided that the room is big enough for an extra person. Breakfast is charged for children aged 16 and over when booked in advance.

What are the payment options in the hotel?
You can pay at the hotel in cash or by card (Bancontact, Maestro, Visa, Mastercard, American Express).

Can I also make a reservation if I do not have a credit card?
This is possible, but because we have no guarantee of the reservation, we ask that you check in before 18:00. Otherwise, the room will be released again.

How much is the city tax?
The tourist tax in Bruges and Zeebrugge amounts to €3 per person.

Can I get an invoice?
You can always ask the reception desk to print or mail you an invoice.

Can I book a stay with a Bongo voucher?
You can, but only via the Bongobon website. (www.bongo.be)

I have a gift certificate from ibis Styles Zeebrugge. How can I book my stay?
It depends on what kind of gift card you have. Do not hesitate to contact the hotel if you are not sure.

Can I cancel my stay free of charge?
That depends on what kind of booking you have made. Reservations paid in advance are often slightly cheaper, but cannot be cancelled just like that. Contact the hotel if in doubt.
